Just a reliable pick for a lightning stop in Christchurch with good value. The staff was super friendly, especially Elliot who took us to the Antarctica exhibition. Make sure to enjoy the pool while you're there.

I loved my stay at Commodore Airport Hotel. The complimentary airport shuttle made getting to and from the airport a breeze. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed that helped me sleep well. Staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests. I enjoyed a delicious meal at the hotel restaurant, where the service was prompt and the food was top-notch. However, there were a couple of downsides. The bathroom arrangements weren’t convenient for two people getting ready at the same time, which created a bit of awkwardness. Also, the spa was lukewarm, which was disappointing after a long day. Overall, I’d definitely consider staying here again, but improvement in the spa temperature would be appreciated.

Wish for more seating in public areas.

I only had one night here, but it was fantastic! The indoor swimming pool and the serene garden area were perfect spots for relaxation after a long day. Just a heads-up, my room was a bit of a trek from the lobby, but it didn’t take away from the overall great experience! 😊

I enjoyed my recent stay at the Commodore Airport Hotel. The location was perfect, just a short distance from the airport. The staff here were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Although the cot provided for our baby was a bit outdated, it didn't overshadow our positive experience. I'd happily return!

Family with kids escaping the chaos
The staff was very nice, especially Judy and Tom, they really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. And the pool, man, it looked amazing, wish we had more time to relax there but I made use of the bath in my room as a nice little escape before our flight.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but considering the service, it was still acceptable.
